How to Prepare

To prepare for the PMP® exam you may choose to self-study or take an exam preparation course.
Because of the difficulty of the PMP® exam many candidates choose to attend an exam preparation “boot-camp” style class. Typical boot camps are 3 – 5 days in length. At PM Learning Solutions, we believe it takes a minimum of 35 hours of class time to convey all of the information and ensure the candidate will be able to pass on the first attempt.

Another option is to self-study. There are a number of products available on the market, but the ultimate source is The PMBOK® Guide, 6th Edition. Most students require supplements to The PMBOK® Guide.

Please note that the PMP® exam changed on March 26, 2018 and is based on  The PMBOK® Guide, 6th Edition
