Why We Guarantee To Rock Your Face Off!
You may have heard of the “triple constraint” of project management… but are you familiar with the “PMP exam prep triple constraint”?
Instructors. Materials. Support.
PPM is different from other providers in that we recognize the importance of the IMS triple constraint.
Constraint Number One: Instructors
Have you ever been in a class where you were:
- Watching the clock, convinced it wasn’t moving?
- Listening to the “instructor”, realizing you knew a heck of a lot more than they did?
- Seriously considering gouging your eye out with a pencil for the sheer purpose of entertainment?
If you answered yes to any of the above, you apparently were not in a PPM class!
On a search of our recent student testimonials about our instructors, the most common adjectives used were: “passionate”, “knowledgeable”, “entertaining”, “outstanding”, “engaged”… and my personal favorite: “infectious enthusiasm” (ok… that was two words, but you get the point!)
We believe the instructor makes the class. From personal experience, I’ve witnessed classes that only had printed copies of the PowerPoint slides for their “course materials”. Yet, student reviews were excellent based on the instructor’s ability to convey the knowledge and the concepts.
Now that’s not to discount the next constraint…
Constraint Number Two: Materials
Honestly, our PowerPoint slides are great. (Actually, they rock). Technically, we could print them out, spiral bind them, and call it a student course book. But that’s not good enough for our students. Instead, we provide a 350+ page course book, explaining all of the PMI concepts, hands-on activities, and of course, practice tests. Lots of practice tests.
Knowing it’s not always convenient to carry around a big book, we provide our students with a 6″ x 9″ 18-page, full-color quick reference study guide. We call it “The Brain Baby“. As one student said, “all hail The Brain Baby!”.
PPM course materials are printed for each student on premium paper (not cheap paper and not photocopied). Why does the paper matter? Have you tried erasing notes you made in pencil on cheap paper? Or perhaps you’re fond of ink pens with real ink, that bleeds through. Or better yet, you like cool blue or green highlighters. Not cool if they bleed through the book! But that won’t happen in our books. Highlight away! Heck, we even give you a highlighter!
Although our instructors and our materials are the best of the best, we go one step further…
Constraint Number Three: Support
Regardless of the certification you are pursuing, the PMI application process is confusing and cumbersome. And what happens if you get audited?
At PPM, we know who you are by name. We are here to help and are available to answer any questions you may have. Individual care, concern, and support is what you deserve and it’s what you will get when you take a class with PPM.
